Pairing your Nimble with WiFi

Pairing your Nimble with Wi-Fi is the very first step - whether you’ve just unboxed yours, or you’ve moved it somewhere new.  Follow the video below, or scroll down for written instructions!

Pro tips:

  • Do not remove your Nimble’s Secure Shipping System (orange screws on the bottom) without successfully pairing to Wi-Fi first!
  • Max brightness on your phone screen is always helpful
  • Remove any privacy screens; if you can’t, screenshot your QR code and send it to another phone that does not have a privacy screen.  Once inserted, your Nimble will still pair to your app account on your phone.
  • Ensure location services are turned on for your Nimble Beauty app, so that we can find your home WiFi network automatically.
  • If you experience errors in pairing, the most likely reason is that the password is incorrect.  Please double-check lower / upper cases and ensure there is no extra space behind the password!
  1. Plug in your Nimble.  Your Power button will be solid red.
  2. Press the Power button to turn it on.  It will blink red for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  3. The mobile phone icon may then blink blue.  That means your Nimble is booting up and searching for Wi-Fi.
  4. Your Nimble will end up in QR ready mode:  white Power button, red Paint button, blinking blue Wi-Fi button.
  5. Follow instructions in your app with location services turned on.  Enter Wi-Fi password correctly, and click Show QR Code.  Turn screen brightness to max levels.
  6. Insert your phone with the QR code on top of the hand plate, taking care to not drop your phone inside the Nimble.  Line up the pink line on your phone screen to the LED bar on your Nimble.
  7. Once the mobile phone icon blinks blue, you may remove your phone.

Once you receive the Success message on your app, you may either go on and follow instructions to remove your Secure Shipping System if it’s your first unboxing or you’ve transported your Nimble securely, or continue to select a mani type if you’re just switching Wi-Fi networks.
